Tips for getting the best results
Page numbers are the PDF's, not the document's
Count from the first page of the file. A report whose printed “page 1” is the third sheet will be page 3 here.
Use an open range to reach the end
“5-” keeps everything from page 5 onward, which saves counting to the last page.
Splitting is not redaction
Removing a page removes it entirely, but text hidden under a black box on a kept page is still readable. Use proper redaction tools for that.
Check the result before sending
Open the downloaded file and confirm you kept exactly the pages you meant to.
Common problems and how to fix them
It says no valid pages
The range doesn't overlap the document — check the page count shown next to the file and make sure the numbers fall inside it.
The PDF won't load
It's probably password-protected. Unlock it in your PDF reader and save an unprotected copy first.
I need each page as its own file
Run the tool once per page, entering a single page number each time.
