Improvement

Updated from Electron 38 to Electron 44.4.5, which brings Chromium 152 and Node.js 24 along with newer security fixes and performance improvements.
Clipboard handling moved to Electron 44's asynchronous clipboard API. Clipboard history, Magicals, templates and snippets all work exactly as before.
macOS 13 (Ventura) or later is now required. If you are still on macOS 12 (Monterey), do not update — this version will not run on it.
32-bit Windows is no longer supported, because Electron 44 only ships 64-bit builds.

Fix

Copy and paste no longer triggers templates — Ctrl/Cmd+C and Ctrl/Cmd+V could set off a template such as /cv and replace what you pasted. Modifier-key shortcuts are no longer read as typed text, and a mouse click clears any pending trigger.
Template duplication works again — duplicating a template could look successful but silently fail because of an empty team field. Copies are now created properly, and a failed save shows an error instead of reporting success.
Quick Access no longer gets stuck — the window could sit there as an empty dark box. It now closes itself if nothing loads within two seconds, restarts when frozen, and always closes with Esc when focused.
Quick Access and Clipboard no longer steal focus on macOS 27 — clicking either window used to activate Slashit and pull focus away from whatever you were working in. They now leave your active app alone.

Feature

Copy clipboard items instantly — a new Copy button in Clipboard History puts any saved item straight back on your clipboard, without pasting it into whatever you are working in and without disturbing your history.
Add links in templates — you can now insert and edit hyperlinks inside the template editor, the same way you would in a word processor.
Keep template results in your clipboard — a new setting, off by default, that also keeps the text your templates produce in your clipboard and clipboard history, so you can paste it again later. Works with regular and AI-powered templates alike.

Fix

Fixed clipboard history quietly stopping — new copies would stop appearing until you restarted the app. It now keeps working on its own.
Fixed a focus mix-up between Clipboard History and Quick Access — opening the clipboard window while also using Quick Access or expanding a template could send you back to the wrong app afterwards. Each now remembers the right one.

Feature

Faster window opening — Quick Access and the Clipboard window now open noticeably quicker, without the extra delay and re-focus stutter that used to happen on Windows.
Clipboard opens on your active screen — On a multi-monitor setup, the clipboard window now appears on whichever screen you're currently working on, instead of always jumping to the main display.
Main window remembers its size — Resize the main window however you like; it now reopens at that same size next time instead of resetting to the default.

Fix

Fixed a major issue where brand-new accounts on Windows got stuck repeating the onboarding flow — after creating an account and finishing setup, pressing "Start" would send you back to the beginning. New accounts now complete onboarding and land in the app as expected.
Fixed the related problem where the app would unexpectedly show a "Slashit paused" notification and stop working right after a new account finished setup.

Feature

International keyboard support — Triggers now work reliably across QWERTY, QWERTZ (German), and AZERTY (French) layouts on both macOS and Windows. No more "I typed / but nothing happened" if your keyboard layout maps that key differently.
More default triggers — : and ? are now built-in default trigger characters alongside /, &, ,, ., ', ;, and !. More natural ways to kick off a shortcut.
Reset trigger to default — A new reset icon next to the trigger character setting (Settings → Preferences) lets you instantly restore the defaults if you've changed them.
Sort selection remembered — Your sort choice in the Quick Dashboard now persists between sessions.
Faster filter access — In Quick Access, Tab now cycles folder → search → sort, putting filtering controls one keystroke away.

Fix

Fixed a major issue where Premium users' clipboard history was being trimmed to 6 items on app startup — Premium users will once again see their full clipboard history.
Fixed a bug where disabling clipboard history in settings would silently turn itself back on after using a template or Magical action.
Fixed a bug where sort selection in Templates, Magicals, and Snippets lists would reset to default after deleting an item.
Fixed a brief flicker when opening Quick Access and Clipboard windows.
