Check the page counts
The count next to each file is the quickest way to spot that you've added the wrong version of a document.
Name the output clearly
Rename the downloaded file to something meaningful before sending it — “merged.pdf” tells the recipient nothing.
Unlock protected files first
A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked in your PDF reader before it can be merged.
Compress afterwards if it's large
Merging several scanned documents can produce a big file. If you need to email it, compress the images first.
Common problems and how to fix them
It says the PDF can't be read
The file is most likely password-protected or corrupted. Open it in your PDF reader, remove the password by re-saving it, then try again.
The pages came out in the wrong order
Files merge top to bottom in the list shown. Use the up and down arrows to rearrange before clicking Merge.
The merged file is very large
Scanned PDFs contain full-resolution images. Compress the source images or use your PDF reader's “reduce file size” option before merging.

Is there a limit on file size or number of files?
No fixed limit — the constraint is your device's memory. Very large scanned documents may take a few seconds.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge the unlocked copy.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. The pages are copied across exactly as they are, with no re-compression.
Can I choose the page order?
